Christmas Celebration / New Years Eve

Today we attended and were a part of the Christmas Celebration put on by Pastor Kim Leang; who runs the orphanage. It was a joyful time and God moved in the hearts of the believers and non-believers. The program was very diverse and included dancing, singing and a play. The play was put on by the children from the orphanage and it was about the story of Jesus' birth. They had music, karaoke, costumes and dance all incorporated in the play; it was very well put together. There were other groups of people contributing to the celebration as well. They were from the Philippians, Korea and Vietnam. Our team sang silent

night as a choir and then the youth of the team played the song Hallelujah. Bibi and George gave their testimonies and the Holy Spirit definitely moved in that time. Later on when the Pastor preached and then asked if anyone wanted to accepted Christ, a lot of people raised their hands. Although we are not sure how many of the those people were from the Church or from the neighborhood we thank God for bringing more people into his family.

We were also blessed with a great New Years Eve meal given to us by the hotel manager and the owners, who are his parents. We pray that God would open the hearts of these kind people and that they would receive his love.

God Bless you and Happy New Years from Cambodia!
