| Outside The Orphanage |
Today part of the team went to the orphanage in the morning. During the morning team meeting we were praying and Renee got a picture of a gold angel over us. Then later when we were in the orphanage the pastor showed us angel wings that they had made and painted gold. At the orphanage we sang some songs, like Father Abraham and God Is So Good with the kids. We taught them some english words, acted out the story of David And Goliath, and gave the children medical attention. One of the boys has a burn on his arm that Bibi treated the day before but thankfully today it was greatly improved.
The other part of our team left late in the morning to go check out the girls and boys home (two ministries working with ex-prostitutes) and today they successfully found thier way there. We have a lot of opportunities to work with the women through ESL, dance, art and computers. The men also got to visit the boys home and interact with them. They are also many things that we could help out with there as well. We thank God for opening so many doors on only our third day here.
